Got a good dose of nostalgia at this place, loved the coffee shop next door and the scenic hikes. Perfect for reliving childhood memories.
The soundproofing was a joke, couldn't get any sleep when the neighbors above decided to have a marathon on their wood floors. Brilliant.

The coffee shop next door and the picturesque hikes on our doorstep were good surprises. The view of the old fishing inlet was a bonus, and we enjoyed exploring the shoreline and nearby attractions. This period cottage is a total game-changer! The modern updates are mind-blowing, making our stay absolutely jaw-dropping. The location, with its stunning view of the old fishing inlet, is like stepping into a nostalgic memory. We were in awe of the endless walks along the shoreline, tidal causeway to the island, river bank, and charming love village. And let's not forget the convenience of having a coffee shop next door and a delightful beach just around the corner. Janie, the owner, was super friendly and helpful, making us feel right at home. We're already dreaming of our next visit and spreading the word to all our friends and family. 19-22 November was simply unforgettable!

The location is absolutely fantastic, with a coffee shop next door and breathtaking hikes right at your doorstep. You can also enjoy the beautiful beach just around the corner, perfect for a peaceful stroll. the owner, Janie, was very friendly and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed during our stay. the cottage itself is stunning, blending period charm with modern comforts. the rooms are well-designed and the bathroom is clean and well-maintained.
The soundproofing in the cottage is lacking, especially in the main bedroom. It can be quite noisy if the neighbors above have their TV on or if they walk across the room.

The coffee shop next door was a great perk and added to the overall charm of the area. Plus, the views of the old fishing inlet were absolutely stunning.
The lack of soundproofing was a bit of a downside. I had difficulty sleeping in the main bedroom when the neighbors above were watching TV or walking around.
